A Man That I Loved The Most

For almost 21 years I live in this world, he is the most patient and loving man I've ever known.
Not even a single day he passed without his tender care for us.
And now, I'm not ashamed to say that no man I ever met was my father's equal,
and I never loved any other man as much as I love him.
Thank you for always being there for me, my sister, and especially mom when I was far away from home.

Happy father's day, Pah!
I didn't say it often, but I do love you.
And I miss you.

*just a quick post to wish a happy father's day to my super best dad in the world. :)

The Perspective

"As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more."
- Psalm 103:15-16

One day, a friend of me told me a story.

There were two brothers who accompanied their father when he was about to have his last breath. The father gave a last message for both of them.

"My sons, there is one important message for you to be success in your life. First, do not collect the debt to anyone. Second, do not let your body exposed to the direct sunlight."

The sons were confused with the message their father gave to them before he passed away. It was the weirdest message they ever heard. But, they still followed the message though.

After 5 years, the mother of those two brothers came to visit them. They saw the youngest one had a very miserable life. His business was messed up, and he got nothing in his life. Then, the mother ask him, "Why did your life become like this, son?"

The youngest son answered, "I followed the message that father gave to us, Mom. I was not allowed to collect the debt from anyone, so I never ask everyone for the debt they got from me. Time went by, I ran out of money because I gave them to everyone and never ask them back. Then, I was also not allowed to expose my body to the direct sunlight, so I went to work everyday by using taxi. I paid much money for that."

The mom was very sad and she went to the older son. She was surprised because his older son's life was far away from the younger one. He got a good life. He had a very nice house, car, and job. He seemed to have everything. His life was happy and healthy. Then, the mom ask him, "How come you become a very success person, son?"

The older son answered, "I followed the message from father, Mom. I was not allowed to collect the debt from anyone, so I never gave debts for anyone. My money never wasted for anything like that. I was also not allowed to get into direct sunlight, so I always went to work very early in the morning, before the sun comes out; and went home from work very late at night, after the sun comes down. I got a plenty hour to work than my other friends."

A very interesting story about how two people have two different perspective towards one message.
* you can get the real version of the story here.

This is just the same about how we see our life.

Some people have a very clear vision about their life.
Some people don't.

Some people work their ass up to turn those visions into reality.
Some are very busy doing nothing to make a temporary fun for themselves.

Some people very focus on their goals.
Some try their best only to impress someone for nothing.

Some people know how to use well the trust they have from other people, and turn it to be something wonderful.
Some waste away those trusts, crumble and tore them into pieces.

Some people do good for other people for they know they can't survive alone. They manage to get so many good friends.
Some become very egoistic bitches. They don't realize how important those people called 'friends' for their life.

Some people accomplished a lot of wonderful things and still never satisfied with them. They always try their best to make another accomplishment.
Some accomplished nothing, yet still become very proud of themselves. They become those arrogant morons.

Some people know how to use their money wisely.
Some waste all money they have to satisfy their fucking prestige.

Some people do so many good things and remain silents.
Some are very proud of all the sins they did and brag about it everywhere, like it was something to be glorified for.

Some people realize how fragile their life is and never waste every time, trust, and opportunities they got. They give their very best of everything.
Meanwhile, some become those fucking stubborn idiots who think that their life belongs to them forever. They do everything they want and waste every time, trust, and opportunities they got, until they realize how stupid they have been when they lose it all.

How about you?

What is life for you?
What have you done to make it meaningful?
Have you wasted too much time for nothing?
Have you made enough friends?

What for you live?

The Power of Words

Hello, Everyone!

It's June alreadyyy! Are you excited for this month? I AM.
Yes, I've got several projects and challenges last month, on May, which will be continuously going 'till June, July, August, or maybe September. I'm going to go for internship! It's a YAY for me. Just can't believe that I am in my last year already. Besides that, I am also currently waiting for the announcement of a scholarship and development program from Astra International, called Astra 1st, which I joined several weeks ago. It's probably going to be announced on the 2nd week of June. Wish me luck, everyone! *finger-crossed* >.<

By the way, I think it hasn't been too late to share the result of my another project in Merry Riana Campus Ambassador (MRCA), which is: MRCA Monthly News May 2013 Edition! After several times struggling for the design of this monthly news project, finally we got the right design by the help of Stephen Septian, a great graphic designer and his team in INCREASINK. You should check their Facebook fanpage here, to know more about them. Seriously, they are really great for the graphic design or branding! :)

To make it short, just check it out the 3rd edition of MRCA Monthly News here and now!
Enjoy! :)
